Have a question?

Do I need to be a sports fanatic and/or play fantasy sports to work at Underdog?

A passion for sports certainly helps, but it is not required. Admittedly, for some roles sports industry knowledge is required, and that will be outlined in the job description.

Will I hear back from Underdog after applying to a job?

We do our best to get back to all candidates within a 3-4 week time frame. That said, certain jobs have a high volume of applicants and our small but mighty recruiting team is only human. While we can’t guarantee that every applicant will hear back, if, at minimum, you spoke with someone on the phone, you will always hear back from us with an update. Job searching can be a grueling process and our recruiting team approaches the candidate experience with empathy and compassion – we ask the same from candidates in return.

I’m seeing that Underdog jobs are remote. Is Underdog actually fully remote?

Yes, Underdog is proudly remote-first. Most roles can be done from anywhere in the U.S., giving you the flexibility to work where you're happiest and most productive. We also make space for in-person connection through company events and team meet-ups that keep our culture strong. Even though we're spread out, we stay closely connected through Slack, Zoom, virtual events, and collaborative projects that bring our teams together.

What is the interview process like at Underdog?

Our interview process varies by role, but our goal is for you to meet with your future teammates and managers. We start our interview process with an introductory call from one of our recruiters to chat about your career aspirations and answer any questions you might have about Underdog. From there, you’ll meet with your future UD manager and coworkers to learn more about the role and our culture.
